With a strong heritage in cricket having been a major cricket sponsor for twenty-seven years as Cornhill Insurance, global financial services goup Allianz has entered into a business partnership to become Chance to shine's first premier commercial partner.

Chris Hanks, general manager of Allianz Commercial, the commercial business trading division of Allianz Insurance plc, reports: “We are delighted to support this important initiative which aims to revitalise cricket at the grass-roots. Encouraging children to participate in and enjoy a competitive team sport at school will give them the chance to learn tolerance and co-operation to achieve success. It will also spark a life-long interest in healthy activities. Working together and protecting the future lie at the heart of our business values.”

Working closely with Allianz is assigned broker Kerry London Ltd. which is looking to raise further funds for the campaign through Chance to shine introduced business leads. They have also developed with Allianz a specific cricket club product Club Care which helps provide an income stream to the campaign.
